Custom made car wheels are excluded from the 14-day right of return under article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU). Covar Atelier will not accept returns for a product designed by the customer. If the rims are designed by you or rims are produced by your specifications we cannot accept returns. Nevertheless, we are still responsible for the quality of the product we supply, accounting for the defects if any are found.

We price each set personally for you. Since there are many options for a wheel to be produced, we need to listen to your needs before we price your project. Once we provide an offer it is fixed, we will not change it. The proposal we send you includes gross price with delivery with no extra costs. You make a payment via bank transfer or a payment link by card. That would be additionally finalized once you are satisfied with your order.

Standard time frame is 8 - 12 weeks. From receiving the deposit and final design is determined how long it will take. In your proposal we will state how long it will take to receive your rims. Period varies based on factory work load and the finish your require. Some of the finishes take a little bit extra time because are hand made.

We design the wheels per your car specification. The form we require to be filled is not just another boring form to fill out that nobody sees and ignores. It is extremely important that the information you fill out, is accurate. Before production we will verify the technical details with you to ensure fitment to your car.

We encourage to have an idea before submitting the form, so we are not lost in translation of designs. Submit the form, receive a proposal from us after finalizing the specifications, pay a 50% deposit and after the deposit is received the design will start. You approve the final design, after that the remaining 50% of the total amount is due. After the outstanding balance is covered, production starts.

Forged car wheel is made from a single blank of 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum alloy. It is pressed under around 10 tons pressure to ensure material quality and sustainability. Forged wheels differ from standard cast wheels by the high-end technology they are made by and the opportunity to offer lighter weight and more resistance. The rim form is completed by a CNC machine where the finishes are completed by hand if it is paint, polish, chroming or brushing.
